Tui Studio is an architectural design studio which is founded by Nhung Pham in 2022. Nhung is an architect who graduated from Ho Chi Minh City University of Architecture (now known as UAH) in the Southern Viet Nam in 2015. In 2021, Nhung was selected for the Flanders fully funded VLIR-UOS scholarship to study the Master of Human Settlements at KU Leuven University, Belgium and Aalto University Scholarship category A to study the Master of Architecture at Aalto University, Finland. After 10 years of practicing and studying, Nhung is now focusing on exploring the way that human experiencing spaces to unveil flexible housing designs that support and nurture the complexity of change and heteronomous cultures on a daily basis and across scales.

Career summary2025 | Moved to Leuven, Belgium and work as a Co-guidance for Master's Degree Landscape Urbanism Spring Studio, under the International Center for Urbanism. Studio theme: Metropolitan Park. In April, SAFA (Finnish Association of Architects) awarded the Wuorio Prize for Young Architect for Nhung's Master's thesis as the best architecture thesis of Finland in 2024.2024 | Completed H07 house - an experiment on flexible housing. Completed Master's thesis on Play as a research method. Graduated from Aalto University with Architecture major, Wood minor, passed with Honors, grade 4.75/5, master's thesis 5/52023 | Completed design phase for H06 house - a small urban house, which is now under construction. At the same time, Nhung is currently working as research assistant for RUA - Research in Urbanism and Architecture for their up coming research book about Mekong Delta.2022 | Obtained the Master of Human Settlements Degree with Distinction from KU Leuven with many valuable knowledge and research strategies regarding urban design development. Moved to Finland to study the second master – Master of Architecture. Founded TuiStudio with an ambition of merging academic researches with design practices.2021 | Got the Vlir-ous ICP Scholarship (total amount around 24 000 EUR) and the Aalto University Scholarship category A (30 000 EUR). Finished the TĐX II – Under the sun exhibition for MIA before going to Belgium. Moved to Leuven, Belgium and spent most of the time travelling to experience European architectural master pieces. Finished all the design and technical drawings for House in Vung Tau.2020 | Became an Entry level Architectural Team Leader during Corona pandemic time. Finished many conceptual design proposals such as Hon Lan high rise apartments, Casa Phu Quoc hotels, Alila Rock Bar. Finally finished some first built projects: Tan Dinh villa (with MIA) and IKIGAI house (individual work with Suong - Si::studio).2019 | Became Senior Architectural Desiner at MIA Design Studio, focusing mainly on developing Vong Nhi 4 star hotel and other hospitality functions in the Vong Nhi development area. Suddenly realized the pure beauty of living space when designing Hon Lan mass housing project.2018 | Won two continuously MIA Internal Design Competition (UP and HOUSING competitions). Developed design proposals for Vong Nhi villas, Vong Nhi landscape, authority supervised for Tan Dinh villa2017 | Joined MIA Design Studio as an Architectural Designer because of feeling lost about design value in real estate market. Finished the very first private house concept. Client rejected the concept since it looked weird.2016 | Joined RSP Viet Nam as a Junior Architectural Designer, took part in different high-rise apartment and office projects in Ho Chi Minh City.2015 | Graduated and obtained the Degree of Architect from UAH (Ho Chi Minh City University of Architecture) with “Pleiku City Low-rise condominium” graduation project, which ranked 3rd in exam council.
